This is travelling diary. There are many attractive aspects of traveling in Korea. Korea offers visitors the opportunity to see numerous UNESCO sites. For this journey, I didn’t even have the opportunity to visit Jeju Island which has more than three UNESCO sites and Seoul – the South Korean capital city that boasts three royal palaces. Beautifully arranged, colorful, and delicious Korean food can be found in Korean restaurants. There you will also meet some of the most fascinating and well-rounded people in the world. Because there are so many beautiful places all over South Korea to see and so many things to do, I’ve decided to divide my journey into parts. This is part one of my journey.
What’s unique about South Korea is that it has about 3000 islands including uninhabited islands. About 70% of the territory is made up of mountains. A view of the sea can be seen almost everywhere, and you will be amazed at the beautiful mountains.
From ancient times, this country has been called the "the country of good manners of the East." Anyone using a bus or subway will know that it is true. we gathered up our courage and boarded a plane to Bangladesh with the mindset that in all of the bad there is always good - even beautiful - lessons to be learned from a place.
Now, as I look back on this trip I can see that we were definitely rewarded for setting outside of our comfort zone. Bangladesh is definitely one country that proved to be beyond our expectations. We were invited to associate with the local people many times and had countless enjoyable experiences with them. And even though we saw a tremendous amount of poverty, we were also treated to some truly breathtaking natural scenery as well.
One Bangladeshi person told me “You will miss this country since people here are really kind and always try to help”. I found a lot of truth in those words. We do miss the people and wonderful food in this country. It was truly unlike other countries, we were treated very well as foreigners and got a lot of help from local people.
